  Absolute rubbish. ordered an hour in advance, only to be told when I arrived that my naan breads weren't ready and there was a wait. I asked again about 20 minutes later how the naan were going? The guy working the counter then informed me that he had given my order to someone else... Congratulations you morons, you totally stuffed up my wifes mothers day dinner...
  Pathetic customer service from the owner who didn't even know how to refund on the EFTPOS machine... I'll go to Rajas next time as I wont be spending anymore money at Masala

  Masala has always been my 'go to' for indian in townsville but recently I've been very disappointed. The last few times the food has been of poor quality (chewy meat and burnt nans) and the waiting times ridiculous (once it was up to 50 min after the quoted 30 min).
  I thought it might just be the deerigun store so I tried canon park and found the order time to be normal but the nans were dry and also not the ones I actually ordered. Hopefully they sort this out soon becuase they used to be awesome. But until then I have found a new go to...

  Had an argument with a female staff member because the food was so bad, cannon park is soooo much better. Deeragun also don't deliver locally .. very poor customer service they will talk to customers like crap u can pay $50 for a meal expect no apology for it being rubbish. Last $50 they ever get from me

  Hate spending money when I can't even eat the food. It was so over salted it was just not edible. Does the chef know what it tastes like before its sold to the unsuspecting public. This is the first review I have written - but this food prompted me to do so.

  I would recommend you always order in advance (25-45 minutes). To the owners, I would suggest to get rid of the annoying door chime sensor at the counter that goes off constantly, so when you have customers waiting they aren't subjected to the constant chimes as people mill about the counter.
  The food once you get it is tasty. Although quality goes up and down over time it seems, (there does appear to be less meat and more juice lately) the food is generally great and good serving sizes for the money.
